Antique Chinese Green Celadon Ground with Underglaze Blue Decoration Table Lamp

For your consideration is a magnificent Chinese Celadon ground table lamp with blue decoration that include peony flowers and bird. The lamp measures approximately 29" high to the tip where the finial goes, but can be expanded to 32" tall. The porcelain/pottery section measures 16" high by approximately 7" wide. The wooden base is 9 wide, and the lamp weights over 8 pounds. It is in great working condition, but as shown on the photos, it is missing the finial and does not come with the shade.

The nipple (metal portion that supports the sockets) is a little bit loose. Also, there is a chip on the top edge of the wooden base, a chip under the edge of the top wooden section of the lamp, and some cracks on the handles. By 8 1/4" wide; the white metal portion has a base diameter of 6 7/8". The lamp is in great working condition.

There are scratches on the metal base. As shown on the last photo, the socket is a little bit twisted. Also the bottom edge of the globe glass shade has a couple of chips and nicks, but that does not impact the way it sits on the base.
