Vintage Green Lady/ Chinese Girl By Vladimir Tretchikoff Framed Original Print. Please check my other items for similar pictures. This is a super vintage print of the Green Lady is in perfect unmarked condition with rich bold colours, you wont find a better one! There are some marks/signs of age on the frame as would be expected but it is in sound condition. The original painting is a 1952 piece of art by Vladimir Tretchikoff who painted it in Cape Town, South Africa. It is now on public display at Delaire Graff Estate, South Africa. The painting appeared in some scenes of Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy (1972). The lady in the picture was Monika Sing-Lee (Pon-Su-San), she was around twenty years old when the picture was painted.
Monika died in Johannesburg on 14th June 2017. Please look carefully at all the photographs as they form an important and integral part of the description.
Measurements Height: 63cm x Width: 53cm Depth of frame: 4cm It was under glass but this has been removed for cleaning and can be refitted if desired so let me know if you would like it glazed. I have not had any glass break so far but cannot be held responsible for the carriers. Collection in person is another option.
